Problem After Successfully Logging on to VVR


Message


Cannot communicate with vradmind on hostname; vradmind might be down or is not yet installed.

Description

The Summary page may display this error message even after you have successfully logged on to VRW.


Solution

This error indicates one of the following possibilities:

    Checkmark  You may not have a proper license for VVR.

    Make sure that you have installed a valid VVR license.

    Checkmark  The vradmind command has been restarted and is running on a different port.

    Restart the VRW application to use the new vradmind port. See Starting and Stopping the VRW Application.

    Checkmark  The vradmind daemon is not running on the system.

    Start the vradmind daemon.
