setlocator


Use the setlocator command to turn the host server's Locator LED on or off.

Note: This command works only with servers that have front panel Locator LEDs. The Netra 240, Netra 440, Sun Fire V210, Sun Fire V240, Sun Fire V250, and Sun Fire V440 servers have Locator LEDs.

How to Use the setlocator Command

Note: You do not need user permissions to use this command.

At the sc> prompt, type the following command:

sc> setlocator option

where option is either on or off.

For example:

sc> setlocator on

sc> setlocator off

To show the state of the Locator LED, use the showlocator command.
